Vice‑Chair Gary Geoffroy read a letter from the State of New Hampshire Wetlands Bureau indicating the application lacked required information. During discussion, Glenn Fuller noted a regulatory or policy point: condominium rules often limit lifts to one per property unit and the applicants propose two lifts associated with a designated boat slip rather than a freestanding installation, which may affect how the permit is evaluated. Fuller also expressed a broader concern that state oversight has not kept pace with rapid increases in recreational watercraft.
Because the application was incomplete, Tom Drouin moved and Robert McDonald seconded tabling the item to the commission’s next meeting; the motion carried with all in favor. The commission deferred further consideration until the applicant submits the missing materials and any clarifications from the Wetlands Bureau are received.
