Vice‑Chair Gary Geoffroy read the application materials to the commission. The proposal calls for removing a previously approved permanent docking structure with seasonal canopy and rebuilding two 6‑foot by 50‑foot piers supported by three 6‑by‑6‑foot rock‑filled cribs, plus a 50‑by‑34‑foot permanent boathouse roof covering the center two slips. The application also proposes dredging about 3 cubic yards of ledge to provide two boat slips on the outside of the proposed boathouse.
Commission members reviewed the submitted materials and raised no issues with the application. Glenn Fuller recused himself from the review because his employer, Watermark, might be engaged on the project. Following discussion, Tom Drouin moved to recommend approval, with standard siltation controls in place and a condition that all necessary permits be obtained; Robert McDonald seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
