River Ridge CDD adopts goals and performance measures to comply with new state law HB7013

District staff and counsel briefed the River Ridge Board on HB7013, newly enacted state legislation requiring special districts to establish and report annual goals and performance measures. Mrs. Cleo Adams, District Counsel Tony Pires and District Manager Chuck Adams highlighted the statutory requirement and proposed general performance measures focusing on Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability.
The board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form and added the initial report, due Dec. 1, 2025, to the Key Activity Dates list. Mrs. Adams said the report must be posted on the CDD website.
What happens next: District Management will finalize the goals and prepare the initial statutorily required report for posting by Dec. 1, 2025.
