Proctor Selectboard approves subdivision rules, signs highway financial plan and other routine actions

At its March 23 meeting the Selectboard unanimously approved Subdivision Regulations required under Act 181 Tier 1B, signed the Annual Financial Plan for Town Highways, authorized the chair to sign a state notice on equalized education, and reviewed and signed selectboard orders totaling $534,777.44.
The Proctor Selectboard took several administrative votes at its March 23, 2026 meeting, approving routine and regulatory items affecting town planning and finances.
Selectboard member Albert Wenta moved to approve the Subdivision Regulations required under Act 181 Tier 1B; the motion was seconded by Selectboard member Jay Thorton and approved unanimously. The board also signed the Annual Financial Plan for Town Highways after a motion from Selectboard member Bruce Baccei, seconded by Linda Doty.
In addition, the board authorized Chair Lisa Miser to sign the State of Vermont Notice of Tentative Redetermination of Equalized Education and Coefficient of Dispersion; the motion was made by Jay Thorton, seconded by Albert Wenta, and approved unanimously. The minutes note the redetermination will provide a credit to the town. During routine business the board reviewed and signed selectboard orders totaling $534,777.44.
Other agenda housekeeping included approval of the March 9, 2026 minutes and updates from the town manager on items including upcoming Dump Days scheduling and policy updates. Several motions were unanimous and no dissent was recorded.
