The Town of Proctor Selectboard on Jan. 26 approved a $9,000 MRP application and reviewed a proposed online payment portal the town plans to offer later this year.
Selectboard member Albert Wenta moved to approve and submit the Our Yard MRP application for $9,000; Linda Doty seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. The motion authorizes staff to submit the application as described in the meeting materials.
Town Manager Judy Frazier presented an agreement with Autoagent Data Solutions, LLC to offer MuniciPay as an online payment portal. Staff said the service would charge a 3% fee to users and that the town anticipates offering the portal on or about July 1, 2026; the manager said she will highlight the offering at the March town meeting. There was no recorded dissent to proceeding with the agreement during the Jan. 26 session.
In other service updates, Selectboard member Albert Wenta provided an update on The Bus: route times will change on Feb. 2, 2026 to 8 a.m., noon and 4:30 p.m.
The board signed the town warning for the annual meeting and reviewed departmental reports during the same meeting.
