At the Nov. 10 meeting the Selectboard unanimously reappointed Kevin Blongy and Town Manager Judy Frazier to the Rutland Regional Planning Commission Regional Emergency Committee. Jay Thorton moved for the reappointments; the motion was seconded by Albert Wenta and approved.
Presenters Chrispin White and Olivia Bucksbaum described a CEDERR initiative tied to the Real Rutland program. The presenters said CEDERR is revising its weekend newcomer package and plans to purchase gift cards to give to individuals or families who move to Rutland County. The minutes state "20 packages worth $1000," but do not clarify whether $1,000 refers to the per-package value or the total value of all packages; the Selectboard said it will consider a sponsorship request during its upcoming budget session.
No vote on a sponsorship was recorded at the Nov. 10 meeting.
