Warren Hills superintendent delivers farewell as board accepts his evaluation

Superintendent Earl C. Clymer III delivered a farewell statement at the Warren Hills Regional Board of Education meeting on June 23, thanking faculty, staff, administration, board counsel and his family for their support during his tenure. “I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has been part of my Warren Hills journey,” he said, noting the district’s experience through “triumphs, tragedies, and even a global pandemic.”

The board announced that the superintendent evaluation had been completed and that Mr. Clymer accepted it. Board members publicly thanked Mr. Clymer and Business Administrator Donnamarie Palmiere for their years of service and accomplishments.

In his prepared remarks, Clymer singled out staff and administrators for their professionalism and collaboration and thanked Board Attorney Marc Zitomer and district business manager Donnamarie Palmiere for their counsel and partnership. He also offered a personal thank-you to his wife and daughters: “Their sacrifices, understanding, and unwavering belief in me have made this journey possible.”

Clymer noted the district’s recent administrative milestones in his superintendent’s report earlier in the meeting: mandated federal, state and local education reports due June 30 were complete, the district passed its QSAC review with the next scheduled review in fall 2028, and the district budget was complete. The board’s public expression of gratitude preceded action items later in the meeting affecting personnel and district operations.

The meeting closed following routine business, public comment and approval of consent motions; the board adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
