Mount View principals report improved routines, SAT prep and growing athletics and arts offerings

Kennedy described an SAT-prep initiative that places all 11th graders into a 45-minute daily prep block linked to progress-learning diagnostics, intended to improve college-readiness and replicate test conditions in classrooms. He also credited coaches and art staff for expanding extracurriculars: "Coach Burkett did really well with our volleyball... Cross country qualified for the state meet," he said, noting these activities contribute to school culture and student engagement.
