"We have 426 total students currently," Hardy said while describing diagnostic results and the school's emphasis on targeting "bubble" students with interventions.
Assistant principal Mr. Johnson outlined special-education enrollment and supports: 132 exceptional learners (about 32% of the student body), with the largest subgroup identified as specific learning disabilities. Johnson and Miss Hendrick described use of i-Ready diagnostics, weekly walk-throughs, reteach classes in English and math, and an attendance team that has identified 101 chronically absent students and is using home visits and report-card-style attendance notices to engage families.
