Board reappoints five members to Animal Control Appeals Board

Commissioner Billy Joiner moved and Commissioner M. Shane Turney seconded the reappointment of Bruce Jones, Kathleen Brooks, Kathleen DeYoung, Ashley Daniels and David Martin to two-year terms on the Animal Control Appeals Board; the motion carried unanimously. The reappointments were presented as routine and no public objections were recorded in the minutes.
Town Attorney Aaron Arnette told the Board he intends to meet with Animal Control, the Planning Board and staff to review procedures for handling animal control complaints; no date for that meeting had been set during the August 7 session.
