Schreiber said the road swell at Devonshire/Country Club Drive required contractor work; Commissioner Dan Murphy moved to proceed and to amend the Powell Bill appropriation, Commissioner M. Shane Turney seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
The ordinance text adopted on June 3, 2025, states: “To amend the appropriation of Powell Bill funds for Contracted Services to repair the dip in Country Club Drive,” increasing Contracted Services by $13,950. The board authorized Town staff to pursue the contracted repair and indicated town police could provide traffic control to reduce contractor costs.
