Trent Woods approves $7,000 budget amendment for police garage repair and added parking

The Board adopted 'TOWN OF TRENT WOODS BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 1 FY 2025-2026' to amend the General Fund and appropriate $7,000 to repair a drainage issue at the Police garage and to extend gravel parking behind Town Hall.
Maintenance/Zoning Officer Rich Schreiber had presented cost estimates for several cleanup and repair locations; after discussion Commissioner Dan Murphy moved to approve a $7,000 amendment to repair the Police garage and add gravel parking spaces, Commissioner M. Shane Turney seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
The amendment increases Fund Balance Appropriated (account 10-399-0000) by $7,000 and increases Capital Outlay – Building (account 10-500-7100) by $7,000. The ordinance text states copies of the budget amendment will be furnished to the Town Clerk, the Budget Officer and the Finance Officer for implementation.
