Presenters reported about 2,263 volunteer hours in 2025, support for 76 businesses, artists and vendors, and an annual budget of approximately $44,900; they said the organization relies heavily on grants and event revenue compared with peer organizations that often receive modest city funding.
"We rely heavily on grants and event revenue compared to peer organizations, many of which receive modest city funding," Andrea Weinman said, asking Council to consider a small, consistent annual municipal investment. Finance Director Monica Morris and City Manager Andrea Rogers advised that any use of transient lodging tax as a funding source would need to be evaluated through the formal budget process alongside other priorities.
