Finance Director Monica Morris presented the proposed Fiscal Year 2026–27 budget calendar and asked the Council to approve scheduling an additional Budget Committee meeting on April 15. Councilor Noah Estes moved to set the Budget Committee meeting for April 15; Council approved the motion unanimously.
City Manager Andrea Rogers invited residents to volunteer for the Budget Committee and Morris said she would post a recruitment notice on the city website and local media outlining participation requirements and time commitments. Staff indicated the April 15 meeting is feasible and will be added to the calendar.
