City council members introduced and congratulated the 2026 Farmington ambassadors and heard a recap of Top the Tater Days from Christy Kerr, chair of the Farmington Area Enhancement Group. Ambassadors Allison Clinkscales, Grace Morehead, Dahlia Nelson and Callie Carlson each gave brief introductions about school and activities; Grace Morehead said she enjoyed the hoedown, and Allison Clinkscales singled out the "kiss the pig" event as her favorite.
Christy Kerr thanked the city’s police, fire and parks-and-rec staff and described stronger sponsorships and vendor participation this year. "We think there are a lot of really great things to celebrate about our community and being able to see people come together," Kerr said. Council members including Steve and Holly praised the committee’s work and the event’s community profile; the mayor noted participants came from outside Farmington and said the festival raised the city’s visibility.
