Jasper municipal pool reports 25,000 visitors this year and wins international design award

"We're about 25,000 visitors so far this year," the staff member said, noting the season included rainstorms and cooler periods that depressed some attendance but that weekly twilight swims have been popular. Staff also said the pool's red slide has been repaired.
In a separate announcement, a staff member noted that the Jasper Municipal pool "has been named a 2026 Dream Design by Aquatics International," listing the facility among 10 projects recognized worldwide. Board members congratulated staff and urged publicizing the award.
Staff also reported 505 people attended the America 250 event at the pool, and said staff will debrief the season and consider changes for next year.
