Gas and water manager Tim Dorsen told the board only one quote was received for a walk-behind saw and requested permission to purchase the unit from Hamlin Rental for $15,579; the board approved the purchase by motion and voice vote.
Dorsen also reported a price correction on a May purchase of additional gas valves: seven extra valves were used and USDI remained the low bidder at $25,016.61; the board approved that correction. He asked for and received approval to repair three generators for an estimated $7,284.72 to replace water pumps and complete needed maintenance.
