Repair Fair draws praise; Energy Committee to support annual event and recruit repairers

Jill Wilcox said she will advocate for an annual Repair Fair and the committee discussed potential venues and formats, noting a need to recruit more local repairers. The group identified desired skills such as tool-handle repair and computer/tech consultation and discussed that the Repair Fair might be held separately from the Sharon Connects Skill Swap if that event returns to its traditional format.
The committee did not take a formal vote on future commitments during the meeting but discussed next steps including outreach to potential volunteer repairers and venue options.
