Selectboard re-elects officers, sets regular meeting schedule and names paper of record

The Town of Sharon Selectboard re-elected its officers and confirmed routine procedural items at its March 4, 2026 special meeting. Kevin Gish nominated Scott Henkels for chair; Ted Austin seconded and the board approved the nomination unanimously. The board likewise approved nominations of Kevin Gish as vice chair and Ted Austin as clerk.
The board set its regular meeting schedule to the first and third Mondays at 6:30 PM to be held at the Town Offices, and designated the Baxter Memorial Library and the Sharon Post Office as official physical posting locations. The Selectboard also adopted the White River Valley Herald as the Town’s Paper of Record. The initial review of the 2026 Rules of Procedure was tabled to the March 16 meeting to allow members more time to review the document.
Actions taken at the meeting on these items were recorded as unanimous motions with the seconders noted in the minutes. The next regularly scheduled meeting is Monday, March 16, 2026.
