Audit Committee to schedule ERM software demo; Risk Manager shares PRIMA conference takeaways

Megan Damato, Risk Manager, told the Audit Committee a full ERM (enterprise risk management) software demonstration will be scheduled for the joint Audit and Law Committee meeting in September after the Town Attorney’s office completes FOIA-related review and Apollo finishes a cybersecurity review.
Damato also reported on her attendance at the PRIMA National Conference, noting she presented at the event and has shared information gathered there — including sample cybersecurity and AI-related policies used by other municipalities — with the Town’s AI Task Force and relevant departments. The ERM demonstration is planned as a follow-up to assist committee-level oversight of risk management tools and policies.
