District Office Manager Gia Cruz raised concerns that charter boats were using the district’s fishing dock to pick up guests and proposed purchasing two signs reading, "Private Dock under surveillance violators will be trespassed." The board discussed the matter and had previously tabled it; trustees did not record a final purchase motion in the minutes for the signs during this item.
Cruz also said Florida Fish and Wildlife asked to use the diving well for training on Wednesday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for 8–10 people. Trustees asked whether the training could begin earlier (mirroring other local facilities) but agreed they would still accommodate FWC's requested time if necessary.
