Houston County Commission places one-time lump-sum retiree payment on Monday agenda

Another commissioner added, “And because the ones that did the full 25, they’ll get like $300.” Chair and staff discussed prior practice (past total roughly $90,000) and the limits of the available revenue; no commissioner objected to placing the item on the Monday agenda so the full board can vote on the resolution.
