Trustees confirmed preparations for Memorial Day: new flags were ordered, Wendi Devlin pledged to donate bunting and her crew will place the flags with assistance from Selectmen’s Liaison Michelle Stith, likely on May 16–17. Barbara Coish will monitor progress and offer help as needed.
Bartlett Tree submitted invoices for treatments at Hill Cemetery; the Chair signed and returned the invoice so the work may proceed. Trustee Bruce Moeckel outlined additional maintenance needs and asked trustees to do a walk of the Hill to compile a list of issues, including walls, gates and trees that may require removal prior to paving at Roger’s Field. Trustees noted the softball group has funds to pave the parking lot at Roger’s Field but trees must come down and Boyden must install a water line before paving can happen.
