Devin Harris, Electric Department Superintendent, presented a request to purchase an Electric Department service truck. The quoted total cost is $85,152, comprising a Ford F350 truck body for $61,695 from Lamb Motors and a utility box for $23,457 from Dickinson Truck Equipment. Harris said the department will transfer the existing 2016 truck to the Street Department.
Commissioner Johnson moved to approve the purchase and Commissioner Reitzel seconded; the commission voted unanimously to authorize the purchase and to have the mayor sign all related documents. The minutes record no conditions or amendments to the authorization.
