Parks Department reports tree removal, irrigation plans and Hyde Stadium repairs

Jay Jensen, speaking for the Parks Department, provided a status update on routine and seasonal maintenance work. He reported that Nick has completed tree clearance on Broadway and is proceeding with stumping after utility-locating; irrigation systems are being prepared to start in early April as weather allows.
Jensen also updated the board on ballfield repairs at Hyde Stadium, saying Midwest is conducting work to secure rails and fix steps and that additional fields will receive further repairs. He noted new top rail guards will be funded by Jim Goodman and discussed coordination needs for staging work and contractor scheduling.
