St. Paul council approves final change order and final payment for tennis and pickleball courts

Kowalski's motion passed unanimously. The council also approved Diamond Engineering Co. Pay Request #5, the final invoice for Project #025-0534, in the amount of $11,588.01. Council members Kowalski, Peters and Wilson voted aye on the pay request, and the motion carried 3'0/0.
The approvals close out the engineering contractor's outstanding draws recorded in the park grant ledger and allow staff to proceed with remaining park-site work tied to the grant. The council recorded the dates of substantial and final completion in the motion and confirmed the one-year warranty period starting June 1, 2026.
