Staff replied that this open house was intended as a 'first touch' to introduce the work and gather initial feedback, and said the city will post a schedule of future events and hearings, send email blasts to interested parties, and hold additional open houses that are not attached to formal planning-commission agendas. Staff also said questions submitted in writing become part of the public record and promised to improve poster boards to show specific changes (dimensional standards and examples) at the next outreach event. Residents requested assurance that written questions would receive responses and that future events would be accessible and recorded.
