"We were looking at having them, 1 artist on 1 side of the road and then the other artist along the other side," a council member said, describing placement plans to create visual continuity as people travel down the corridor. Staff noted most proposals were nature‑oriented and the committee considered tree‑themed designs to align with the city's Tree City designation. Council voted to accept the arts advisory committee's recommendation and authorized staff to proceed with agreements and final design coordination.
