Board grants eight late waivers for Form 451 exemption applications; accepts cemetery report and assessment plan

Jacob Van Pelt, County Assessor/Register of Deeds Administrative Deputy, told the Board that eight waivers associated with late-filed 2026 Form 451 exemption applications had been submitted with written explanations and recommended approval so the Assessor's Office could consider the exemption applications.
The Board approved the waivers by unanimous vote. The Board also received and placed on file the 2026 cemetery report (staff inspected cemeteries and found no sales or changes affecting assessment) and the Lancaster County Assessor/Register of Deeds three-year assessment plan for 2027–2029; both reports were accepted 5-0.
