The Garden City Board of Trustees on July 7 approved the town's 2025 audit and a multi-item consent agenda that included minutes from June meetings, bills paid and to be paid, and a Beck Total Office Interiors invoice for $39,137.15.
"Trustee Rebecca Moreau moved to approve Consent Agenda items a.-f.," the minutes record; the motion was seconded by Trustee Leigh Sorensen and carried with all present trustees voting yes. Melissa Bigler of auditing firm Anderson & Whitney presented the draft 2025 audit report; Trustee Leigh Sorensen moved to approve the audit, and that motion also carried unanimously.
The approvals settle routine financial and record-keeping items and clear the agenda for discussion on separate topics such as the liquor applications and a special-use review. The consent vote included documented authorization for the Beck Total Office Interiors charge of $39,137.15 and the record shows no objections during the roll-call tally.
