The CQI committee reported a Hot Dog fundraiser raised $469 and, after expenses, yielded a $264 profit, the board was told at the May 21 meeting. Committee members recommended holding the event annually and noted a tentative staff picnic is scheduled for Sept. 11.
Dan Rusin told members he is contacting Pat’s Pizza and Pirates Cove Family Fun Center to host a fundraising evening and that the committee will create flyers and handouts to promote the event. Members agreed to select a date in June and Dan said he may secure events at more than one Pat’s Pizza location.
