At the July 14 meeting the Salina Building Advisory Board approved the minutes from its May 12 meeting after a motion and second.
Later in the agenda the board considered item 3.1, proposed local amendments to the 2018 UPC to allow smoke testing for drainage and venting systems as an alternative to the UPC-prescribed water test. A member moved to recommend the amendment to the City Commission, a second was recorded, and the board voted in favor with no recorded opposition. The board had no public speakers on Zoom and adjourned following the vote.
