The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 on Nov. 7, 2024, to approve proposed 2025 road engineering amounts of $360,000 for asphalt work and $140,000 for chip seal. Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved the proposal and Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen seconded; the board instructed maintenance to reach out to the engineer to proceed.
The board added the road-project funding to the agenda as part of new business, and the motion carried without recorded dissent. The township will treat the two line items as the engineering budget for next year’s capital pavement work; supervisors did not specify construction start dates during the meeting.
