The Standish-Sterling Community Schools Board voted June 15 to adopt the district's budget for the 2026–2027 school year following a presentation by Business Manager Jennifer Malik. "I move to approve the Budget Adoption for the 2026-2027 school year," said Annette Ratajczak when she offered the motion, which carried on a 6–0 roll call with one absence.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved amendments to the district's current 2025–2026 budget. Kevin Noffsinger moved to approve the budget amendments and Annette Ratajczak seconded; that motion also passed on a 6–0 roll call. The business manager had reviewed current-year revenue and expenditure items during the budget hearing, and the board had an opportunity to ask questions before voting. The board did not record additional conditions or contingencies tied to the adoption.
