Committee members asked staff to produce updated bid packages for Orchard, Quest and a Robinson Hill section and to prepare outreach materials explaining options, timelines and likely tradeoffs. One member suggested issuing information on the town website and holding public hearings so residents understand proposed work and tradeoffs: "It would be smart to have a couple of public hearings or something to get people in."
The committee set an August meeting date (Aug. 3 at 5 p.m.) to review the bids and craft recommendations to present to the Select Board, and directed staff to provide clear cost and scope information ahead of the public hearing process.
