Residents press council on yard flooding and raise concerns about reportedly damaged city dam

Another resident, Mr. Troutner, said a January 2024 study found the City dam ‘‘significantly damaged and cracked in very unstable condition’’ and said he had not heard about changes since an open house in March 2024; he urged the council to address the safety concern. Mayor Donald Roberts later said he would like to see another inspection for the dam soon and suggested moving repair forward on the schedule despite replacement not being budgeted.
