LaFalce told the council that “the post-firework litter is horrible,” noting boxes and debris left in the streets after celebrations. Councilmember Deb Lebakken noted that paper lanterns are already illegal statewide.
Charlie Troutner of 707 W. Nelson reiterated LaFalce’s concerns about fireworks clean-up and asked for an update on planned improvements to Edgerton Lake and its dam. The council did not vote on any of the public requests; staff took the comments for follow-up.
