Member Nadir Ahmed moved for the site visit; Laverne Lovell seconded. The board approved the motion in a roll-call vote with four ayes.
After the site visit motion, the board voted to continue the hearing on the application to August 20 at 7:00 PM so the applicant can provide clearer dimensioned plans and the board can review neighborhood impacts. The continuance motion was seconded and passed by the same roll-call margin. Chair said the visit and additional plans would help the board judge sight lines and whether conditions should apply to any approval.
