The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors approved a $1.00-per-hour retroactive raise for its maintenance employees at its Dec. 17, 2024 meeting. Chairman Mike Helman moved the pay adjustment, which Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen seconded; the motion carried 4-0.
The minutes state both maintenance employees completed performance reviews on Dec. 6 and "met or exceeded expectations." The raise was applied retroactively to Oct. 28 and the minutes note the agreed review/raise cadence was 120 days after hire (Oct. 26). The board identified one maintenance employee by first name, Blake, in the motion that granted the adjustment.
