Summary
Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen told supervisors the CPA audit work is ongoing and could finish within weeks; she corrected 11 parcels and submitted fire assessments to the county, and said federal payroll taxes must now be deposited semi-monthly after paying more than $50,000 over the last four quarters.

Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen told the Silver Creek Township Board that items continue to be submitted to the CPA as part of the township audit and that staff hope the CPA will complete the work within the next couple of weeks.
Paumen said she has made corrections to 11 parcels and submitted fire assessments to the county. She also reported a change in federal payroll-deposit requirements: because the township paid in more than $50,000 over the last four quarters, federal taxes now must be deposited semi-monthly rather than on the previous schedule.
The board did not set additional actions during the meeting on the audit timeline; the clerk indicated follow-up filings to the CPA and county will continue between meetings.
