CTE space, annex reuse and playground/parking needs part of reconfiguration debate

"The annex is just over 5,000 square foot that's being renovated in the concept b. In concept a, I have it at 4,300 square foot," the presenter (S6) said, explaining that either approach would provide at least two classroom spaces plus a lab/classroom for hands-on technical instruction.
The group also asked about parking and playground equipment: presenters confirmed additional parking is proposed adjacent to the high-school addition and that playground improvements are budgeted when equipment cannot be reused. Staff noted many current sheds and storage issues would be addressed by moving to temperature-controlled storage. On enterprises linked to CTE (for example, a coffee kiosk or charging station), presenters said the kiosk is mobile and could be located in shared common space; plumbing is helpful but not strictly required.
Board members asked presenters to confirm how CTE enrollment, existing shop spaces and FFA operations would be phased into the new CTE footprint and whether existing classrooms displaced by middle-school moves could be repurposed for additional CTE or athletic support.
