So let's lock up some materials, and then we know what we got left," Sam White said as commissioners reviewed options for purchasing and storing materials, tracking donations and the sale of engraved pavers. Members suggested consulting the chamber about sales logistics or offering mail-in checks, and they discussed staging a public hearing in the fall to present options and collect public feedback.
The commission asked staff to talk to contractors and local contacts (Adam, Joe, Brett were mentioned) to determine storage, pricing and whether donated materials could be credited or held on account, and agreed to return with cost estimates and a plan for paver sales and engraving.
