The board approved an extension of the township’s agreement with event operator Perfect Settings, shifting from one‑year renewals to a six‑year term and making several modest operational edits. Township staff said the changes were mainly edits to allowable head counts, tenting language and limited outdoor music; the longer term is intended to give stability to both the township and the vendor.
Nicole of Perfect Settings described pandemic effects on bookings and said the vendor will phase back toward pre‑COVID activity over the new term. “We weren’t just more necessarily to be we we never ran into that wall… COVID certainly impacted us greatly,” the vendor said, explaining why earlier pricing and demand projections changed. After questions on history and pricing, the board moved and approved the contract extension.
