She said residents signed a petition and asked the board to "please approve this moratorium".
Another resident from Aneta Street asked the board to require a professional noise study to demonstrate compliance with the town’s performance standards, citing a nighttime 50-decibel limit under section 24-7-26 and describing combined noise sources from generators, refrigeration, customer activity, deliveries and possible outdoor entertainment. The residents asked for enforceable conditions or denial if compliance could not be demonstrated.
