Vaping in schools prompts calls for detectors, enforcement and ordinances

Speakers described several countermeasures: rotating placement of a single vape detector among bathrooms, restroom supervision and automated restroom-pass logs, targeted enforcement by resource officers when parents provide intelligence, and consideration of local ordinances to cut off supply. The meeting produced no enforcement actions but flagged vaping as a recurring future agenda item.
