Council opens discussion on forming redevelopment commission and possible annexation

Separately, the clerk (S1) said annexation of adjacent utility customers would be discussed at the next meeting to consider including customers the town already serves; councilors flagged the presence of sewer running north of town as potential growth opportunity around a nearby interchange.
The items were not advanced to ordinance readings; the council asked staff to prepare background materials for a future agenda item.
