USD 467 board tours WCJSHS, reviews greenhouse and Ag shop needs

Board President Josh Young convened the special session of the Board of Education for Unified School District No. 467 at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 11, 2025, at WCJSHS. Members of the board and district administration walked through the WCJSHS building, including the greenhouse and Ag shop, to inspect completed projects and to discuss future needs for those instructional and support spaces.
Superintendent Lori Maxwell and WCJSHS Principal Brant Douglas (who joined the meeting at 6:19 p.m.) participated in the tour alongside board members Julee Beedy, Maegan Berry, Bruce Loy and Eryka Smith and district facilities director Buck Bishop. The board did not take formal votes during the walkthrough; the session was for inspection and planning. The meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
