At the start of the meeting, resident Chuck Boniford approached the podium to raise a personal grievance about social media posts that mentioned his name. Boniford identified himself and his address and said he has lived in Parker about 27–28 years. He asked whoever posted his name on Facebook to contact him directly rather than distributing allegations online.
"I don't wanna be smeared all over the Internet," Boniford said, adding that the posts affected him and his family. He told the council he had no agenda and denied influencing voters or soliciting others about voting. The mayor thanked him for his time; the transcript does not show a substantive council response or any commitment to investigate the social media posts during the meeting.
