Council approves multiple beverage license renewals; keeps code enforcement job description unchanged
Summary

Clerk Jeannine Hassell told the council the water rate ordinance will need amendment at the next meeting and then presented several license renewals. Councilor Jim Kreutzer moved to approve Joe's Kwik Mart Cereal Malt Beverage license renewal (off premise); the motion carried unanimously. The council then approved renewals for Dollar General Store (off premise) and Salty Pete's LLC (both off premise and on premise) with unanimous votes.
Council reviewed the Code Enforcement job description and agreed to leave it as written; Clerk Hassell will post the position. City Attorney Charles Moser and Mayor Chris Kreutzer also reviewed a Dec. 10 small claims court ruling that went in the city's favor; Moser will represent the city if the case is appealed within seven days.
