During its Nov. 18 meeting the City of Leoti Governing Body approved the consent agenda, which included the Nov. 4, 2024 regular meeting minutes and payroll warrants for $18,417.12 and $23,154.26. The consent motion was made by Councilor Kelma Burch and seconded by Councilor Jim Kreutzer; it carried unanimously.
City Clerk Jeannine Hassell told the council she had contacted Seaboard about vehicles parked on Main Street; a Seaboard employee said management would be informed. Hassell also said two software demonstrations are scheduled this week for City Hall and asked permission for employees to attend upcoming spring conferences; the council granted permission for Hassell (CCMFOA), Oralia Soto (Municipal Court), Patty Medina and Blaine Medina (KRWA) to attend as registration opens at the end of March. The council set its next regular meeting for Monday, Dec. 3, 2024 and adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
